Our Gardens
The Garden Club maintains several public gardens in Mount Tabor: the flower boxes outside of the Post Office, the Library garden, the front of the History House, the Fountain Garden in Trinity Park, the pollinator gardens at the top of the large park, and even a Culinary Garden in raised, accessible beds behind the History House.
Pictured here is our culinary garden which includes cardamon, fennel, anise, lemon grass, marigolds, poblano peppers, marjoram, yellow tomatoes, purple sweet potato, purple basil, rosemary, artichoke, borage, pollinator and tea herbs, nepeta, hyssop, and heartsease. The beds are adorned with loofa and birdhouse gourds.
