Work Day! Help to revitalize pond area by removing invasive garlic mustard before it goes to seed!
Garlic mustard is a very invasive weed. The roots exude a chemical that inhibits other plants from growing. It is a threat to a wide variety of our native plants and habitats.
If you join us, be mindful of the conditions and wear appropriate protection against ticks and poison ivy.
ALL HANDS ON DECK
Please pull this weed from your yard ASAP (this is the last week before it goes to seed; pulling will then spread seed.) This plant must be put into black trash bags: NOT COMPOSTED.
Stay tuned for more programming on invasives and revitalizing our pond and trail area. Please get in touch if this is of particular interest to you.
